Tried Encrypter on Chrome OS. Works better than other free encrypt apps I've tried using, in that it works on and offline AND it's free. With Chrome, however, you can encrypt a document, but to access it you need to decrypt it first, then remember to encrypt it again afterwards. It's decent for Chrome if you're willing to take the long route. It's very straightforward, and easy to use, easily worthy of four stars. NOTE: The app also only lets you put in the encryption code once, so be careful!
