It definitely works for increasing the very low, hard to hear music on my fairly new laptop. And that's exactly what I was hoping I'd get out of an extension like this. I know that some want more bells & whistles, like DJ Tools to set multiple different aspects of the music, movies, and more, but I have no idea how to use all of that so something like this is what I want for certain. EXCEPT FOR THE ONE BIG ISSUE... Half way thru the song, while I was writing this review, the music has randomly begun jumping from hearing it only from one side to the other. Like in headphones, jumping from one ear to the other over and over until I stop and restart it. Then it does it again a little more into the song. To be clear, I'm not and I haven't used any headphones in months. I just used them as an example so you'd hopefully understand what I was referring to. Thanks much y'all. :)
