Prevents a tab from being closed accidentally
Absolute FAIL. Description says this extension "Prevents a tab from being closed accidentally," which it sort of does -- but it also keeps me from navigating within a site without giving permission, and giving permission quietly unlocks the tab, allowing me to accidentally close the tab. Fail fail fail. From reading the developer's responses to other reviews, Chrome does not allow a useful approach. Okay fine. Put this information in the description so we know the extension doesn't usefully do what it says, and can't be fixed because Chrome. I resent having my time wasted because of an incomplete and misleading description. Plonk.
Make the "leave site / cancel" popup default to cancel. It's too easy to accidentally hit return and then it defeats the whole point of having the pinned tab not close (or change).
Good extension. A feature I'd like, which I believe a previous "lock tab" extension (which no longer exists) had, would be the option to prevent changing the URL of the tab, by either: - Showing the same "Leave site?" pop-up whenever you navigate to a new URL; or - Opening all different URLs in a new tab instead of in the existing one For me, it's also important that this feature would hook into the JavaScript API for changing the URL, not only full-page reloads, because nowadays a lot of websites are SPAs which manage page transitions fully within the JavaScript framework.
