Press Alt+Shift+D to duplicate the current tab (Option+Shift+D on Mac). Shortcut is configurable.
It does something basic but so valuable to a power user.
why is this not an actual google feature lol
Simple and powerful. I put the duplicate tab to Ctrl+Shift+T. Configuration is easy and works like a charm.
