The Simple Grey Chrome Theme is one of my all-time favorites! The creator has kept the theme simple, clean, and has designed a beautiful, active versus inactive, tab distinction, using a simple off-white, cream-color for the active tab, the primary menu line, and the menu favorites row. In contrast, for the inactive tabs, the developer uses a muted, light-blue color. The combination of colors is beautiful, and the developer uses colors that allow the user to see all extension icons easily! As an artist and marketing professional, one of my most important suggestions for Chrome Theme developers, as you design web-related content, focusing on your end-users requirements. What is the intent of your creations? How will the end-user use your creation? When styling web-menu detailed designs, ensure that your design actually improves the end-users visual experience. Artists often forget that the primary user-experience is 'THE NEED TO CLEARLY SEE' menu items, screen content, and app/extension icons!.
