Empathy test for color blindness and visual impairment
My favorite tool to use for testing the experience of color blindness and aging vision color degredation. Effective, efficient to use. No need to load each page of your site into another site. You just pop open the extension make your selections, re-set as needed and move forward. The extension just pops open when you click it a simple drop down menu with your various options opens so you can make your desired selections . You can toggle through all the options to see if the choices in design, especially for interactive elements, are available across the various color perceptions. Wonderfully useful and lets me test designs and sites quickly and easily.
It works but doesn't remember your settings. If I open the menu, select a radio button from both categories (color blindness and vision loss), then close the menu, if I open the menu back up, the radio button choices are not correct. It goes back to "none" for both categories even though the filter is still applied.
This plugin has come in handy when testing websites. I agree with another reviewer that being able to move the menu as well as keeping it displaying even after tapping on page. Update these two and I'll update my review to 5 stars.
