Beauty and nostalgia presented with an old world charm. This theme is a tribute to the movie 'Memoirs of a Geisha'.
I've always enjoyed the novels related to 'Memoirs of a Geisha' as well as the actual film. This wallpaper helps me to remember the difficulties Japan and other countries had during the 1940s.
I also saw the movie and am now reading novel. Have to say it's my favorite. it reminds me of my own grandmother.She was chinese\hawaiian but as an asian woman her plight was similiar beauty without wealth back then there were very few options. There is a poem Yin Qwa which is about faded beauty. I also miss the beauty of that era the era of Geisha.
