Search for bookmarks from the omnibox.
Was hoping this allowed for more fine-tuned searching (ie, search for bookmarks within a folder or path, instead of all bookmarks like Chrome does)... unfortunately it just searches the same way Chrome searches... all thousands of my bookmarks.
This extension is redundant. It's unnecessary because this feature is built into Chrome already. If it's not set up already, you can configure it yourself with a couple of easy steps: In Chrome settings choose the item "Manage search engines and site search" (chrome://settings/searchEngines). Add a new "Site search". When creating the new search, name it "Bookmarks", use the shortcut "*", and the URL "chrome://bookmarks/?q=%s". Then save the new search. To use it, in the URL/search box of the browser window, type "*" (without quotes), followed by the spacebar or tab key. Chrome will prompt you to "Search Bookmarks". Then you can type the name of bookmark and Chrome will find it. If you don't like using "*" for the search shortcut, you could try "@bookmarks" or "bm" (to work exactly like this extension; or for "bowel movement").
Concept is great and aims to perform fast. However the results are messed, making it hard to locate the items. Either directly type @bookmarks in the address bar (the built-in chrome feature which is good enough for most scenarios), or try mindecho which is a universal bookmark search extension supporting reading list as well.
