Thank you very much for taking the time to 1. make this extension and 2. share it with the world. I don't understand how it has only 8 users. It's made a significant difference in my life. Reddit is one of the websites I struggle with the most. For other websites, like 9gag instagram or facebook, it is clear that I will never need these for any pertinent information. However, reddit is one of the websites which is always on the verge. I often need it for technical information, but once I go there, the rabbit hole has a certain pull, and the algorithms, they know how to bait me. I try using time limits, but this is a non-solution for reddit. Sometimes I need particular information more than the 10 minutes the extension allows. Sometimes I have a limit of 2 minutes and that would be enough to get me hooked to go around whatever extension I've installed. And if I log out so the algorithm doesn't know my particular taste, then the recommendations for the general public often have enough hooking content. It sucks that these companies deliberately and maliciously prey on our evolutionary psychology to glue us to our screens and make profit, and it sucks that they're unregulated. If our lawmakers had a backbone, these apps would start with defaults on the safe side of causing addiction, for a minimum. This means it already starts with a disabled feed and disabled recommendations, so you don't have to dig so deep to disable them. It also sucks that the only for me to prevent all feed from popping up, is to unsubscribe from every single subreddit I've subscribed to. In short, thanks again for taking the time with this extension, it makes a massive difference in my life.
