Seems a very good extension but when I go to the 2nd page of Google, the counter resets. I see other similar extensions have this issue as well... can you look at it and fix it?
I tested it out. It did the job well - including correctly numbering the results for Google's continuous scrolling result pages too, which is good. However, the numbers are too invasive to the SERP layout for my liking. I prefer the numbers not to interfere with the layout. So I switched to the MST SERP Counter Google Chrome extension instead, which inserts the numbers to the left of the item and doesn't mess with the layout (e.g. for taking screenshots etc). Tom - I wanted to leave specific feedback, so you can consider adding a less invasive layout. I hope this is helpful.
review update - This extension is great, quite often i need a quick lookup of current positioning and this simple yet effective plugin works great..... keep up the good work Tom 👍
