Canto Chrome Extension
This was a great extension that solved some problems with the overall system for me, but sometime in the past month or so Canto made changes to their search functions, and this app no longer filters queries. Most search terms will return hundreds of unrelated results. Canto Support confirmed that this is the case, and a fix is not in their development schedule -- basically this app has been deprecated without any warning, and should be removed from the app store.
Great first step! As helpful as this extension is though, I would prefer to do what this extension offers, in Flight itself. I would love to search, drag, drop from Flight, instead of trying to utilize the small space given in the extension window. Not mention the extension is slower than Flight. For now, I will use the extension, because as I said it is a great first step. For the immediate future, I would like to see some of the advanced search options that are in Flight itself added to the extension, such as being able to filter by file type, tags, and keywords. I would also like to be able to take my results and sort them by certain criteria like you can in flight.
