Some lag with large amounts of tabs, but no startup lag. I have 2600 tabs. This was the third tab counter extension I tried. The first two had a major issue where they would cause my browser to show a black screen when started up and be unusable for 50+ minutes (up from 30s to start up without the extensions!). This extension has no impact on startup speed, and while there is a bit of a freeze whenever a tab is opened or closed, it's about 1 second long, which is better than the 4 seconds I've observed elsewhere. 1 star off for the slight lag, but thank you for the actually usable tab counter!!
