Simple, easy-to-use blocks programming language for the BBC micro:bit and other microcontrollers
Every spring, I teach an after-school robotics class for middle school grades 7 and 8. The students find MicroBlocks easy to use even if they have never coded before. This year, the addition of support for Bluetooth Low Energy allowed students to change the code on their robots wirelessly, which helped them learn more go farther in the limited time we had.
This is an amazing application for programming on Chromebooks! I appreciate and love the features of real time coding and the streamlined user interface for focused programming.
