it changes your search engine to yahoo! also i didn't add this it added itself so i almost went crazy trying to figure out why my search engine was not google. (was so frustrated started crying lol)
The extension might be perfectly useful, but I (like others) didn't install it. It creeps me out to now know that a foreign, uninvited extension can just be installed without my knowledge or consent?
First, I did not add this extension. Not sure how it came to be on my Chromebook. Second, I found it in my extension list because I noticed that my Chromebook wasn't using Google as a search engine even though Google was set to default on both my device and my browser. I went and looked through my extensions and saw this one. I disabled it and could search Google be default again. Reported it for abuse and am now deleting it.
